I love good design, team collaboration, and going full throttle
About Me
I grew up in Colorado and quickly found a passion for art and racing motocross. I even raced professionally at the national level for a number of years as a young teen. Going into college, I knew I wanted to pursue a career where I could still be around motorcycles so I started off in the Mechanical Engineering program at CU Denver in 2008. Shortly after starting school, I was involved in a pretty gnarly racing incident that left me with a badly broken wrist. I couldn’t write or take tests on my own so I was forced to withdraw.
That’s when I redirected my interests to branding and design. I healed up and joined CU Denver’s Digital Design program the next semester. While in school, I started my graphic design career with a local print shop so I could learn all about the business and what it takes to balance creativity with production and tight deadlines. I graduated with my BFA in 2013 and began doing creative and marketing work for motorcycle dealerships and action sports-centered clientele. Over the next 8 years I would hone my craft and expand my designer toolbox so I could offer a wide range of services to clients.
Eventually, in 2022, my career path led me to Southern California to an opportunity with KISKA Inc. that I just couldn’t pass up; where the two worlds of motorcycling and design merge together like no other place in the world. It was a dream come true and I have been blessed to combine my passions while working with some of the raddest professionals in the industry. Throughout my career I have played many roles; marketing & art director, event coordinator, problem solver, brand manager and content creator. Taking a creative approach to building and maintaining brand equity is a challenge I am always eager to accept.
Other than riding motorcycles and graphic design, I also enjoy creating traditional art, building and modifying motorcycles, hiking, snowboarding, and going tide-pooling at the beach.
Skills
Impactful Design
Whether it’s a logo design, an in-store display, product packaging, or advertising campaign, I really enjoy creating for brands who desire to push the envelope. The experience is just as important as the product and ensuring that experience is nothing but the best is always my end goal.
Logistics & Time Management
I am a very logistical and detail-oriented person. I am no stranger to laying out a roadmap and following the steps necessary to get the job done. If there’s an obstacle in the way I work quickly and effectively with my team to overcome it. There is no better feeling than wrapping up a project knowing that the client is over-the-moon about what you and your team have created.
Marketing & Event Support
I love brainstorming new and creative ideas with marketing and events teams. Together we come up with some pretty rad content that connects customers with brands and further builds the brand’s equity and fidelity.
